Cllr. Mrs Norma Dias, Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Newcastle East and Wallesend, is the entrepreneur behind a chain of property based businesses - Oppulent Properties, Oppulent Rentals and Oppulent Interiors. Norma is about to extend her portfolio of businesses to include Oppulence - a shoe and accessory shop with a difference! Married 23 years, with three sons aged 22, 20 and 17, the catalyst for change was a car accident in which one of her son's was seriously injured - this was the turning point in her life that precipitated her launch into politics.

Norma has 20 years experience in litigation and conveyancing and is a qualified Accredited Mediator (Civil). She is also a District Councillor for Chiltern and sits on various committees.

Norma is about to enter the world of national politics and has been nominated a Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Newcastle. She has appeared on the The Politics Show (BBC North East).
